TWIN CITY TITANS: ADAPTIVE BASEBALL LEAGUE
Full Description:
DSASR is sponsoring a baseball league for children with special needs. League will be adapted for kids who use wheelchairs, walkers, etc. and for children and teens with mental disabilities. This league will be fun, noncompetitive and will give kids the opportunity to play organized baseball that might not otherwise get the chance to play. A soft, rubber type baseball will be used and a tee will be provided for those kids who have difficulty hitting the ball. Friends and family members are encouraged to attend games to provide emotional support and physical assistance when needed. Practices and games will be played at Katz Park , DeKalb. Season begins June 10th. If your child would like to play baseball this summer or if you have any questions please call DSASR (815)758-6663 ext. 122 Suzie Zeeh.
